Different Types of Children’s Beds
Children are some of the most imaginative little people around. They love to play and they enjoy making up stories that involve their surrounds. They take their imagination to many levels and enjoy spending time in their bedroom as a fantasyland. For many children their bed is a getaway space that lets them create hours of fun either alone or with friends. The type of bed a child has can make the difference between a place they dread going and a place you can hardly get them to leave.
A bed is also the place where your child needs to get a good night’s sleep on a regular basis. This means that when imagination time is over, you want to be sure your child is resting comfortable and falls off to a pleasant sleep the whole night through.
There are many types and styles of kids’ beds which are designed to fit their wants and needs. Selecting a bed may not be as simple as you think but only because there are so many type and styles to choose from. The size of your child is something to take into consideration when selecting a bed. Another thing to consider is what your child likes and if it fits the theme of their room. Some of the most popular choices in beds for children include bunk beds, canopy beds, camp beds, sleigh beds, futons, daybeds, trundle beds, loft beds and custom beds such as car beds.
If you are in the market for a bed for your child, age is an important factor. A very young child needs a bed that will grow with them but that is also a safe sleeping area. As a rule, children under six should not be placed in an upper bed of bunk beds even if there is a safety rail. If you are looking for a bed for your child that will serve as a sitting area during the day, futons and daybeds are the best choice. Futons have to be unfolded unlike daybeds which are already in place.
For an older child who is still growing, a combination bed may be the best idea. These bed stations include a twin bed or twin bunk beds as well as a desk for doing homework. The bunk beds can later be placed separately for the room to be converted to a guest room when your child has gone away to college.
Canopy beds are often the preference for little girls and they let your little girl go to a fantasy world that is pretty just like her. Trundle beds are a great idea for an area that is small but needs to provide an added sleeping area. The bottom bed can be neatly tucked away beneath the top bed when not in use and very little space is required, unlike bunk beds which have to be stacked on top of each other and may pose a low ceiling issue.
Choosing the right bed for your child doesn’t have to be a headache when you consider the choices available and what may suit your child the most.

Yes, you are spoiled. Spoiled is simply an understatement! You have more than I ever had and ever will! Unfortunately you will probably grow up not knowing what it is to EARN a dollar instead of just get one, or to be valued because you may be a little brilliant instead of just given prizes for a pretty face. I'm sure your parents are decent people, but you should talk to them about this. Tell them honestly that they're depriving you of more than they're giving you. Tell yourself that it's best for everybody if they raise her simply and teach her that happiness doesn't come printed on a bill. With all that stuff you have, I doubt you'll actually learn the true meaning of what it takes to help and support other people, out of the goodness of your heart, not just because you want to get fancy thing. Your parents giving you fancy stuff doesn't make you or them love you any more. You should love your parents because they love you, feed you, provide a roof over you head, and take care of you, and are forgiving, nice and sweet parents, not because they give you stuff. The "stuff" you get isn't going to make up if they die someday. Then what are you going to do? Are you going to be obsessed with your stuff, instead of mourning for your parents? I thought not. So you ARE spoiled, and probably always will be.
