Top Reasons Why You Would Benefit From Having A Bay Window Canopy
There are several advantages to having a bay window canopy fitted, one of which is that the value of your home will almost certainly rise quite out of proportion. Many people don't realize just how much difference a few fairly simple and affordable things can do to the value of your home. Having bay window canopies adds a good deal of visual appeal, and will certainly make your house stand out from the crowd. In the very competitive housing market at the moment, it's little things like this that can go a long way toward getting your property looked at and sold.
But there are many advantages beyond simply adding value to your home, and even if you are not considering selling your property, or at least not yet, there are many good reasons for having a bay window canopy fitted. Considering not only how affordable they are, but also how quick and easy they are to have fitted, bay window canopies can easily make a huge difference to the visual appeal of your home, and can be fitted in less time than it would take to mow the lawn.
One of the benefits of PVC or GRP window canopies is that they are manufactured off site. That means that once the measurements have been taken the actual canopy is assembled in a factory. The reason that it isn't just ordered from a large warehouse is that almost every bay window canopy is made to order. It has to be done this way because so many individual features or unique aspects of the property and the window need to be taken into consideration, it's rarely the case that any two windows are exactly identical.
It's important to make sure that your bay window canopy fits well, and is secure. If there is any kind of gap then water will simply seep in, and this isn't what you'll be looking for. The major benefit of PVC is that it is entirely waterproof, and so a well fitted canopy will keep almost a hundred percent of the water from running down your windows and doors.
When it rains, there can be three major problems with windows and doors. The first is the sheer noise the rain can sometimes make. If you're inside trying to chat, watch television, work, read a book or get to sleep, the sound of rain or sleet lashing against the window can be quite frustrating. There's little you can do at the time, but having a protective canopy above your window bay can reduce this noise quite considerably.
The second thing you'll notice is that after it rains your windows look particularly dirty. This is especially true in cities or built up areas, or if you live nearby factories or an industrial area. The problem is that when it rains, dust and particles in the air tend to become absorbed into the water droplets, and then left on your window pane. The dust and dirt sticks, and long after the rain has either evaporated or run off over the sill, the grime and grease builds up creating quite a disturbingly thick layer of dirt.
Having a canopy above your window will divert the rain from your window pane, and help keep them clean and clear for much longer. It's also worth bearing in mind that canopies of a certain size can offer a good deal of protection and shelter if fitted above doors. Having to stand at the front door with no protection whilst you look for your keys is no fun. It's surprising just how much difference even a small canopy can make. If you have a bay window canopy above your window, then even if it is raining you may well be able to open your windows slightly.
This is great, because if it's been raining for ages and you've had to have all of your windows and doors tightly shut, the air inside can quickly become musty and stale. Having a canopy to keep the rain off the windows can allow you the privilege of opening the windows and letting in fresh air without risking the rain coming in too.
Whether you choose a bay window canopy to add value to your house, to add visual appeal and individuality of style to your house, or to afford protection and shelter for window and doors, there's no doubt that they represent terrific value for money, with minimal hassle or installation time.

Can you explain how these observations fit as to the water canopy theory?
If there was a mile or so of liquid water completely surrounding the earths surface--then the earth would have had to have been completely dark. Small amounts of light are absorbed by water--is the reason at a depth of 200 feet or so--it's dark in the ocean--the light is absorbed by the water. A 200 foot thick layer of water in the canopy is insufficent volume to flood the world. If it were water vapor--then the earth would have to have been completely covered by cloud--and an ice age raging on the earth below. Too cold for flooding in this scenario. Likewise if you utilize the came out of the ground theory--it would have exited to the lithosphere as steam--and they earths inhabitants all scalded to death. Can anybody explain where all the water came from that doesn't invovle the death of all life on earth including those on the ark?

Your question does not address the distance between the earth and water canopy. For example, a 200 foot deep canopy, existing a few miles above the earth, may not have enough volume to flood the entire earth, but look what happens to the water volume when you move the canopy back, say, 50-100 miles or so (just for example). I don't know of any way to say exactly how far the canopy would have been from earth, and there's no way to check, I don't think.
Why would the "came out of the ground" theory mean it would have come out as steam? There are many underground streams still, that exit through natural cracks in the earth's crust. Where do rivers come from? There's not some magical point where water just starts from and flows into oceans or whatever. (Pardon the "magical" -- it's not supposed to sound rude.)
