What is the best way to repair a hole in a pair of sheer drapes, hopefully to withstand a wash on occasion?
This is just an idea, but i think it might work. I have done it with other fabric, just not a sheer. Get a piece of the same fabric, cut slightly bigger than hole. Then use a sheer thread to sew it on from the back side of the drape. It should hold up to a gentle wash.
